Hydromol Ointment and an All-purpose emollient are intended to be liberally used, as required, for the management of eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. Hydromol is a 3 in 1 all-purpose emollient, bath additive, and soap substitute, it contains no fragrances, colourings, additives or preservatives and is suitable for all ages.

Hydromol Ointment 500g is particularly useful for very dry skin conditions and as a night treatment. Can be used as an emollient, a moisturising bath additive, and an alternative to soap. Has a soft texture and forms a protective barrier on the surface of the skin to seal in moisture and prevent water loss. Free from preservatives, colours, fragrances, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS).

How to use

All-purpose emollient – Apply to the affected area with a smooth stroking action in the direction of hair growth. Use liberally as often as required. Ensure hands are clean before applying.
Bath additive – Melt Hydromol Ointment in warm water in a suitable container, add mixture to the bath. Care should be taken as Hydromol Ointment will make the surface of the bath slippery.
Soap substitute – Use as required when washing.

Warning

Do not use Hydromol Ointment if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of its ingredients. If your condition worsens or you experience any undesirable effects, stop using Hydromol Ointment and consult your doctor, nurse or pharmacist. If this product comes into contact with dressings, clothing and bedding the fabric can be easily ignited with a naked flame. You should keep away from fire when using this product. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs rinse with water for several minutes. For external use only. Always take special care when using emollients after bathing; this may present an increased risk of slipping and falling. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
