Saliva Orthana Dry Mouth Lozenges. A mild flavoured lozenge that helps to relieve the symptoms of Dry Mouth (Xerostomia). Suitable for mild cases or as a supplement to the 50ml A.S. Saliva Orthana Spray. Place the lozenge under the tongue and allow to dissolve, whilst moving around the mouth. Mild mint flavoured.
A.S Saliva Orthana lozenges is uniquely formulated from naturally occurring mucin which is an important component of human saliva. The unique properties of mucin assist accumulation at mucosal surfaces where it provides a physical protective barrier against desiccation, tooth decay, infection and also acts as an effective lubricant.
A.S Saliva Orthana is the only saliva substitute that is pH neutral. This is important as any increase in acidity can lead to additional soreness of the mouth and accelerate tooth decay.
