Saliveze Artificial Saliva Mouth Spray, 50ml
Saliveze Artificial Saliva Mouth Spray is an artificial saliva solution for maintaining moisture of the mouth and replacing saliva when salivary flow is reduced, for example in people with a dry mouth as a result of having or having undergone radiotherapy or those with sicca syndrome.
Saliveze Mouth Spray is an aqueous solution of electrolytes in concentrations similar to those found in human saliva. It is pH neutral so can be used in both dentate and non-dentate patients and has a mild mint flavour.
It provides comfort to the patient and facilitates speaking and swallowing. It has a neutral pH and therefore can be used in both dentate and non-dentate patients. It adjusts the acidic environment and adds a dimension of protection not found in a dry and inflamed mouth. SALIVEZE can be used for the relief of dry mouth in conditions where the use of a stick or instrument holding moistened material is difficult.

How To Use
When using a Dry Mouth spray, the goal is to cover the whole mouth to try to replicate the pooling action of natural saliva.
To achieve this, it’s best not to just spray towards the back of the throat, instead, spray 2-3 times in each of the areas highlighted below. You will need to do this several times throughout the day, as directed. This short animation can help ensure you get the best possible results.
